গত মাস অর্থাৎ সেপ্টেম্বর মাসের তুলনায় চলতি অক্টোবর মাসে খুচরা এলপিজির দাম কেজিতে প্রায় ৩ টাকা করে কমিয়ে সমন্বয় করেছে সরকার।
আজ রবিবার (২ অক্টোবর) বাংলাদেশ এনার্জি রেগুলেটরি কমিশন (বিইআরসি) অক্টোবর মাসের জন্য এলপিজির মূল্য ঘোষণা করে যা এদিন সন্ধ্যা ৬টা থেকেই কার্যকর হবে।
গত সেপ্টেম্বর মাসে খুচরায় প্রতি কেজি এলপিজির দাম ছিল ১০২ টাকা ৮৮ পয়সা; সেই হিসাবে ১২ কেজি ওজনের একটি এলপিজি সিলিন্ডার কিনতে ১,২৩৫ টাকা খরচ করতে হচ্ছিল।
আজ রবিবার বিইআরসি’র চেয়ারম্যান আব্দুল জলিল সংবাদ সম্মেলনে বলেন, “অক্টোবর মাসের জন্য সৌদি আরামকো ঘোষিত প্রোপেন ও বিউটেন দাম যথাক্রমে ৫৯০ ডলার ও ৫৬০ ডলার। ৩৫ অনুপাত ৬৫ হিসাবে গড় মিশ্রণের দাম দাঁড়াচ্ছে ৫৭০ ডলার। এই হিসাবটি বিবেচনায় নিয়ে অক্টোবর মাসের জন্য বেসরকারি এলপিজি খুচরা পর্যায়ে প্রতি কেজি ১০০ টাকা ১ পয়সা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। আর খুচরায় ১২ কেজি এলপিজির মূল্য ১,২০০ টাকায় সমন্বয় করা হয়েছে।”
তিনি বলেন, “বাসাবাড়িতে সরবরাহ করা রেটিকুলেটেড পদ্ধতির দাম ঠিক করা হয়েছে প্রতি কেজি ৯৬ টাকা ৭৮ পয়সা। যানবাহনের জ্বালানি হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত অটোগ্যাস প্রতি লিটার ৫৫ টাকা ৯২ পয়সা করা হয়েছে। সেই হিসাবে অক্টোবর মাসে ১২ কেজি এলপিজির দাম ৩৫ টাকা করে কমেছে।”
গত মাসে সরকার দাম নির্ধারণ করে দিলেও বাজারে তার প্রয়োগ হয়নি বলে এক সাংবাদিকের অভিযোগের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে কমিশনের চেয়ারম্যান বলেন, “গত মাসের দাম কার্যকর হয়নি। সেক্ষেত্রে ভোক্তা অধিকার সংরক্ষণ আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেবেন বলে আশা করছি। আগেও আমরা ভোক্তা অধিকারকে দাম কার্যকর করার অনুরোধ করেছি। অনেক সময় খুচরা ব্যবসায়ী বোতল (সিলিন্ডার) বাসায় পৌঁছে দেওয়ার জন্য ৫০ টাকা থেকে ১০০ টাকা পর্যন্ত বেশি নিয়ে থাকে। কেউ যদি কেনা রশিদসহ আমাদের কাছে অভিযোগ করেন তাহলে আমরা ব্যবস্থা নেব।”

২০ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ২০০০ টাকা
২২ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ২২০১ টাকা
২৫ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ২৪৯৯ টাকা
৩০ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ৩০০০ টাকা
৩৩ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ৩৩০১ টাকা
৩৫ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ৩৫০০ টাকা
৪৫ কেজির সিলিন্ডারের দাম ৪৫০০ টাকা।
